New Album Packaging

Recently I had scoured Etsy for a seller who could work on a very special product for me. I was sick of wrapping client albums in bubble wrap and a nice mailer. I think after spending a couple hundred on an album the least we can do is give them a great presentation of the album. So bubble wrap is out and these new beauties are in!
I ordered 4 different fabrics in 4 different styles so I can find a style that I liked the best. All are made from Etsy seller GracieDesigns
The black stripes fits a 5×5 but I could also fit my 4×6 and 5×7 album in there. Next time I am going to order with a pink tie 
This one fits a 5×5 album.
Something to match the boudoir side This is about a 7×7
5×5 album cover. When I first contacted Kelley (the brain behind GracieDesigns) this is what she made. I’m not good at explaining things so it’s not what I was going for when I meant slipcover. HOWEVER, I bought it and am so glad I did. It’s my favorite of them all and definitely going to be a staple with my 5×5’s.
The following fits an 8×8 20 side finao. I’m excited to pick fabrics that match my clients album design and wedding colors!

Cindy and Bob’s Wedding Album

Just a couple spreads as I finish up Cindy and Bob’s wedding album. They ordered a 10×10 and I cannot wait to place the order. It’s definitely going to be amazing!

Yes, workation. Work + vacation=workation. Eric and I flew into Punta Cana on Monday to photograph an amazing wedding. After the wedding on Tuesday we officially enjoyed the rest of our time laying poolside. I also learned the term, “banana hammock.” I found this picture I took which basically explains it all.

Lauren and her spiffy clean converses. Lauren has been around the blog before when we did a little winter trash the dress. I think this winter we’ll do round 2 as I still have that dress. We headed over to Molly Stark since she wanted to see if and of course, since I heard talk of it I became intrigued. I was there 2 days in a row so I think I am good until next fall….or until they tear it down 
I surely hope they don’t it’s a beautiful place for pictures.
MMMMMMMM Tilt shift, I never want to leave you. I love this area the sun was hitting perfectly. 
I need a pair of these….in 3 different colors!

Here is a couple more shots of Jen and our little road trip down to Columbus. I rented a tilt shift so some of these are a very different feel and edit to my normal work. It’s always good to step outside your comfort zone though and it’s even more fun to practice on another photographer
When Jen was leaving she told me she was going to leave these shoes @ my place. She bought so much stuff when here that she had no where to put them. Usually, I wouldn’t mind my friends leaving stuff at my house, especially a cute new purse(which she did) or a cool scarf. BUT, a size 6 shoe? What the heck am I going to do with a shoe that small? Yeah, definitely told her to take them. Plus they are cute and cute shoes can’t go to waste.

My fabulous friend Jen Williams was in town visiting and for the past 3 days we have been playing cameras and exploring nonstop. Before I took her to the airport today I figured this would be a good stop. I have never been but have recently been hearing of it. Beforehand I did a little research online to find out more about this place I’ve never heard of. There didn’t seem to be too much info but I think just looking at this gorgeous property tells a story. Mother nature has taken over the building but underneath the vines is a beautiful building with very amazing details. I think I’ll return in the winter, I’m sure it’s beautiful with a fresh snow.
And of course after our 2 hours of just photographing the building we snapped some images of each other.

Kristin and Adam had a wedding I had been waiting for, for a very very long time. A chance to shot all day in downtown Columbus and of course a Ceremony and Reception at the ACC. It was really a photographers dream. Stellar flowers, amazing style, a beautiful Columbus day and fun people. Oh and the most amazing candy buffet my sweet tooth loving self has ever seen.

Jenn and Tony had a rooftop ceremony on a perfect Columbus day. After getting ready we headed all over Columbus for their wedding portraits. No matter how many times i visit these places they never get old. There is always something new and exciting to discover. Jenn and Tony, thank you for having me.
