Ohio Portrait Photography | Jen and the Molly Stark Park

My fabulous friend Jen Williams was in town visiting and for the past 3 days we have been playing cameras and exploring nonstop. Before I took her to the airport today I figured this would be a good stop. I have never been but have recently been hearing of it. Beforehand I did a little research online to find out more about this place I’ve never heard of. There didn’t seem to be too much info but I think just looking at this gorgeous property tells a story. Mother nature has taken over the building but underneath the vines is a beautiful building with very amazing details. I think I’ll return in the winter, I’m sure it’s beautiful with a fresh snow.

And of course after our 2 hours of just photographing the building we snapped some images of each other. :-) ohioportraitphotosclevelandportraitsfallportraitscantonportraitsakronportraitphotographyohioportraits

Here are 2 Jen took of me and I edited them :)   meleah

I’m really liking this set, I always like to see the photographer in front of the Camera. I followed Jen’s link here from twitter, so glad I did. Inspiration for me. Also, Jen, if your reading this, you should use one of these photographs of you on the front page of your blog, they are awesome!!!

Love these pictures! I’ve always been too afraid to go back there…it’s supposed to be haunted! It used to be a tuberculosis hospital and then a hospital for people with mental illness. Creepy, but pretty :) I think they’re tearing the buildings down and building an actual park.
